Andi Crown
ActorSince getting her first taste of Shakespeare over 25 years ago, Andi Crown has been a regular performer on both stage and screen. With abilities that span from the comedic to the dramatic Andi is an expert at crafting truthful characters that range from the hilarious to the tragic.
Theatre highlights along the way include a spectaclur turn in Auckland Theatre Company’s production of August: Osage County; an effotlessly ghastly creation of Beverly Moss in Mike Leigh’s Abigail’s Party; and more recently nimbly portraying the loathsome tendanices of Goneril in King Lear, produced by Auckland Theatre Company.
On the small screen you may have caught her in internationally successful shows The Brokenwood Mysteries, Wellington Paranormal and The Gulf; and in series regular roles in local production Head High, and Peacock/Netflix series One of Us is Lying, produced for the US market.
Andi also has an MA in Pacific Archaeology and worked in the contract field for seven years before becoming a freelance performing arts photographer. She is one of the industry's most sought after photographers and you will regularly find her shooting headshots for professional actors, or stills for our most prominent theatrical and televison productions.
