Chardé (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāi Tahu) is a Wellington Based award winning comedian, social media star and entrepreneur. Beginning her comedy journey at the age of 16, she started the popular Facebook page, Memoirs of a Māori with a variety of characters who are portrayed through relatable comedy skits that attract millions of views on social media.

In 2022, she performed her first official stand up set to a sold-out crowd made up of her social media supporters. The transition from online comedy to live shows has been well received, earning her spots on pro line-ups and winning awards at The Auckland Fringe Festival in her first year.

Outside of the entertainment industry, Chardé is an entrepreneur with a successful e-commerce clothing brand and is an accomplished goalkeeper in the New Zealand Football National League.
