Edd Rivera

Edd Rivera is a Mexican comedian who has made a significant impact on the New Zealand comedy scene since moving here eight years ago. Prior to this, Rivera lived in the USA and worked as an English professor before establishing himself as a stand-up comedian and writer.
His debut solo comedy show A Mexican Without Borders has been performed in both English and Spanish to sold-out audiences across New Zealand, as well as at Mexfestival and Sudaka Festival.
Edd worked on Te Reo Māori remake of Disney’s Coco, and has created huge amount of social media content with both New Zealand and Australian creators. In addition to his work as a comedian and content creator, Rivera is also a talented tattoo artist, and looking to further develop his acting career.
