Jesse Mulligan
Speaker | MC | PresenterJesse Mulligan is best known as the face of TV3's The Project, and as presenter of Afternoons on RNZ National. He's also NZ Herald's weekly restaurant reviewer and a regular host of live events.
Jesse trained as a lawyer in his home town of Hamilton before a chance spot in a first timer's stand up comedy competition led his career on a different path. His stand up comedy experience led to commercial breakfast radio then TV, as head writer and then regular panelist for hit TV3 show 7 Days.
He has MCed hundreds of live events across entertainment and business. His legal training and years of current affairs interviewing give him the credibility to host significant, high-stakes events, while his comedy background enables a healthy injection of humour where appropriate. He combines all of these skills in his keynote address "Ten things I've learnt from interviewing the most interesting people in the world".
