Millen Baird
Actor | Writer | Creator | Comedian | MCMillen Baird (Te Āti Awa) may have found international acclaim for his performance in Blumhouse’s box-office smash M3GAN, but the award winning actor; writer; producer and director has been a staple of Aotearoa's television scene for almost two decades.
His 2007 sketch comedy series, The Millen Baird Show, received a nod for Best Comedy at the NZ Film & TV Awards and was followed up with two seasons of the hugely popular Auckland Daze - winning Best Comedy Script at the 2012 and 2014 NZ Writers Guild Awards.
His next creation, Darryl; An Outward Bound Story, won Best Comedy Script at the 2017 NZ Writers Guild Awards and the 2017 NZTV Awards. The show also won Outstanding Comedy Series at the 2021 Catalyst Content Festival.
As a producer his short Manny and Quinn was selected for the 2022 NZ International Film Festival; LA Shorts; Newport Beach Film Festival and the Austin Film Festival.
Millen currently has multiple tv series in development.
